Dr Lisa Graham-Wisener is a Lecturer in Health Psychology at Queen’s University Belfast in Northern Ireland. Lisa works within a research centre of health and clinical psychologists with an interest in improving quality of life in chronic illness, and has a PhD in Health Psychology.
In her current position Lisa researches in the area of health psychology, in addition to teaching and research supervision. Her research to date has focused on psychological adjustment in post-treatment cancer survivors and their family carers, and in the enhancement of quality of life and psychological wellbeing in advanced illness (both malignant and non-malignant conditions). She is also involved in research involving outcome measure validation and building resilience in healthcare professionals.
Prior to her current position she worked as the Research Lead for Marie Curie in Northern Ireland, a position based in a hospice setting which involved developing and managing research in partnership with UK Universities
